the Eighth International Conference on Low Temperature Chemistry ICLTC-2010, Armenia

The 8th ICLTC will take place on August 22 - August 27, 2010 in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.

The ICLTC is an international conference dedicated to the research of chemical and physical phenomena and processes undergoing at cold temperatures. The previous conferences have taken place in Moscow, Russia (1994), Kansas, USA (1996), Nagoya, Japan (1999), Jyvaskyla, Finland (2002), Berlin, Germany (2004), Chernogolovka, Russia (2006), and Helsinki, Finland (2008).

It is a great honor and pleasure for us to host the 8th ICLTC in Armenia! Scientists with interest in various fields of LTC are cordially invited to present their ideas and particiapte in discussions. Besides interesting scientific topics, lectures by leading scientists in the field, the saturated cultural program will also be organized.

We look forward to meeting you and having fruitful discussions and spending nice time here in Armenia, the place where biblical Noah's Ark settled, the kingdom which was first to adopt Christianity in 301, the country with unique cultural heritage, and with the capital Yerevan established in 782 BC.

The following scientific topics will be included in the program:

Cryosynthesis, structure and properties of chemical compounds with unusual chemical bonding

Novel reaction pathways in cryogenic solids

Quantum phenomena and reaction dynamics

Novel cryogenic media - clusters and nanostructures

Active Intermediates: structure, reaction dynamics, spectroscopy

Ices, atmospheric and interstellar chemistry

Cryochemistry of polymeric systems and cryogenically-fabricated materials

Reactions in quantum media - liquids, crystals, nanodroplets

Cooled biomolecules and cryo-pharmacology

New techniques and applications

Deadlines

Please take into consideration the following deadlines when planning to participate at the 8th ICLTC conference:

December, 2009: Registration page for the conference opens.

1st of April, 2010: Deadline for submitting abstracts (to be considered for oral contributions).

1st of May, 2010: Notification of abstracts chosen for oral contribution.

1st of June, 2010: Deadline for registration and payment of reduced conference fees.

22th of August, 2010: The start of the 8th ICLTC!
